Guided cellar tour

    The problem

Anyone selling timed entry knows these three evenings.

    Forty seats, forty-three people

Two bookings land at the same instant and both go through. You do the maths at the door, in front of people who paid.

    The platform keeps its cut

A five per cent fee per ticket looks small until you multiply it by a whole season.

The list you printed at six

Whoever bought at six fifteen is not on it, and nobody can tell whether that ticket already walked in.

    How it works

From creating the event to the door.

Four steps, in this order. After the first one you stop doing anything by hand.

    1. 01

You create the event as a product

Pick the "Event" product type, add your dates and the time slots inside each one, with capacity and adult or reduced price. One date duplicates onto the others.

    2. 02

The customer picks, the seat locks

The moment they select a slot, the seat is theirs for the length of the checkout. If they abandon the cart it comes back on its own, with nothing for you to remember.

    3. 03

      The ticket sends itself

Once payment lands, a PDF with a QR code goes out for each attendee, on your background and in your fonts. Names printed exactly as the person typed them.

    4. 04

At the door you just scan

Whoever works the door opens a page of your site on a phone, types the staff password and scans. No accounts to create, and a ticket used twice says so straight away.

    What is inside

All included, with no add-ons to buy separately.

    Anti-overbooking holds

The seat is held during checkout and released on its own if the purchase never closes.

    PDF tickets with QR

One per attendee, on your background and fonts. Downloadable from the account area too.

    Scan from a phone

A password protected page on your own site, with no WordPress accounts for your staff.

    Live statistics

Sold, checked in and still missing for every slot, updating while the queue moves.

    Email every attendee

A time change or a weather warning goes out to everyone booked on a date, queued and without stalling.

    Import from Excel

Bookings you already have come in and go through the scanner like all the others.

    A calendar that compares rooms

One day at a time, all your rooms side by side with their times. People see where there is room without opening one page at a time.

    Price by group size

A room is not sold per head: two people do not pay double what one pays. Write the group price list and the calendar already shows the right figure.

Deposit now, balance on the day

Two hundred euro upfront makes people leave, twenty as a commitment does not. The rest is paid on arrival, and the amount left is written wherever the customer looks.

    Minimum notice

Below the threshold you set, the slot closes so you have time to reset the room. It stays visible, switched off, with the reason written on it.

    Embed it anywhere

The calendar leaves the WordPress site and goes into any page, even one built in Laravel or by hand. The plugin writes the code for you.

    Who it is for

If you sell an hour of your time or your space, you are in the right place.

The trade changes, the problem does not: a capacity to respect, a time to keep free, and no wish to find out at the door that two people booked the same seat.

    Escape rooms

    Rooms and adventures

Three rooms, different times, and a price that changes whether you are two or six. Whoever books takes the whole room: no strangers inside your game.

    Salons and beauty studios

    Treatments by appointment

Every treatment has its own length and its own station. Minimum notice leaves you time to prepare, and a deposit keeps the gaps out of your diary.

    Events and guided tours

    Timed entry

Capacity per slot, QR tickets and check-in from a phone. When a time changes, the notice goes out to everyone booked on that date.

    Wineries and tastings

    Small group experiences

Counted groups, extras chosen while booking, and the option to make a slot private for those who want the cellar to themselves.

    Workshops and classes

    Limited seats, recurring dates

Dates come from recurring rules instead of being created one by one. Holiday closures are declared once and apply to all of them.

    Hourly rentals

    Courts, rehearsal rooms, equipment

One resource at a time, held during payment and released on its own if the purchase never closes. No double booking on the same hour.

    Outside WordPress

The calendar even where your site is not WordPress.

Your site is built in Laravel, in React or by hand, and bookings run on WordPress. The calendar leaves here and goes into that page: customers book and pay without leaving it, and tickets are created where they have always been.

    • The plugin writes the code for you: pick the rooms, look at the preview, copy.
    • It sizes itself, with no scrollbars inside the page.
    • It inherits the colours of the site hosting it: you only tell it your accent colour.
    • No card data passes through the hosting site: payment stays inside your WordPress.

One condition, and it is better to know it beforehand. The two addresses must live on the same domain, even just as a subdomain: book.yoursite.com inside yoursite.com. On different domains browsers treat the cart as third party data and Safari blocks it, so the calendar would show but the booking would be lost. This is not our limit, it is how cookies work.

    your page
    <div id="prenota"></div>
    <script src="https://prenota.tuosito.it/…/slotify-embed.js"></script>
    <script>
      Slotify.embed({
        el: '#prenota',
        site: 'https://prenota.tuosito.it',
        rooms: [12, 13, 14],
        people: 2,
        accent: '#1fb68a'
      });
    </script>

A single room or all of them compared: only the list changes.

    The real maths

The advertised percentage is not the one you pay.

A fee written as "3.5%" hides a flat amount per ticket. On cheap tickets that flat part is what hurts, and the lower the price the higher the real percentage climbs.

With Slotify that line does not exist. You pay the licence and you sell the tickets yourself, from your own site, keeping the revenue.

    A 15 € ticket, ten thousand a year

    With the platform 10.150 € 1.01 € per ticket, a real 6.8%
    With Slotify 0 € 0 € per ticket, 0% always

The real rate on a 15 € ticket is 6.8%, not the 3.5% you read. On an 8 € ticket it becomes 9.6%, because the flat part weighs more the cheaper the ticket.

Essential plan rate from Eventbrite for Italy, July 2026.

    No small print

The lines you will never find on an invoice.

    • 0 € per ticket sold
    • 0 % of your revenue
    • 0 € on free tickets
    • 0 € to receive your own money
    • 0 € kept when you refund
    • 0 € of add-ons to buy separately

You pay the licence once a year and that is the end of it. Whether you sell a hundred tickets or a hundred thousand, the figure is the same and you know it in advance.

    Frequently asked

What people ask before installing it.

Can I put it on a site that is not WordPress?

Yes. The plugin writes three lines for you to paste into the page, and the calendar shows up there: people book and pay without leaving that page, while tickets, orders and check-in stay in your WordPress. The only condition is that the two addresses live on the same domain, even just as a subdomain, otherwise browsers block the cart as third party data.

I run an escape room or a salon, not events. Does it still fit?

Yes, and it is exactly what the latest features were built for. You can show all rooms side by side day by day, charge by group size instead of per head, take only a deposit and settle the rest on site, and close slots that are too close so you have time to reset.

    Do I need WooCommerce?

Yes. Slotify runs on top of WooCommerce for cart, payments and orders. If your site already sells something, the hard part is done.

Do you take a fee per ticket?

Never. You pay the licence and nothing else, whether you sell a hundred tickets or a hundred thousand. Payments go through your own gateway, straight to your account.

How does check-in work at the door?

You open a page of your own site on a phone, enter the staff password and scan the ticket QR code. Whoever works the door needs no WordPress account, and an already used ticket is flagged immediately.

What if two people book the same seat?

It cannot. As soon as someone picks a time slot the seat is held for the length of the checkout, and if they do not complete the purchase it is released automatically.

I am coming from Eventbrite, what actually changes?

Three things. Tickets are bought on your own site instead of a platform, so the visitor and their data stay yours. The money reaches your account on your gateway's schedule, with no payout caps. And the cost does not grow with the number of tickets sold: a good season does not hand you a bigger bill.

Can I import bookings I already have?

Yes, from an Excel file. Useful when you move from another system or a spreadsheet and want the old tickets to go through the scanner too.

Does it work in English or other currencies?

Yes. Slotify uses whatever currency WooCommerce is set to and the timezone you choose for events, assuming nothing. The plugin is translated and translatable.
